The books are vampiric.

Or just very very evil *finally sets the books on fire and walks away whistling a tune*.

In fairness, The Dark Knight made me think the same thing when I first heard. "Something based on a superhero comic? Sounds terrible." I was surprised by the quality.

Yeah, but the comic books were great.

Twilight books are not.

Glad there isn't a Twilight videogame out there.

Imagine how much gliters it'll be packed with, also how fast it'll sell out in one week! lol

finished book four last night/this morning. the entire book can be more or less summed up in 4 sentences:
-bella gets knocked up
-bella gives birth, dies, and becomes a vampire
-bella saves everyone with previously overlooked but really awesome superpower in a mexican standoff
-happily ever after

the book is better than the disastrous book three, but definitely weaker than book two. it still feels horribly stretched out at times; the writing poorer as well. the narrator change is interesting, but doesn't mask how ridiculous that jacob just suddenly went from a major storyline character into a glorified nursemaid. i really expected him to die in some epic way.

overall, book one and two are the only ones worth reading. book one simply because book two won't make sense without it.

Meh.
I found the movie to be quite disappointing. There were only two scenes that I really liked, Alice's vision of Bella and Edward running through the forest and the confrontation with the Volturi.

I loved how at the very end, right after it cut off, someone in the cinema yelled "F*CK OFF".

Even if I did see it twice....
